ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - An Allen County woman was found dead, and the sheriff's office is looking for information to solve her homicide.

Deputies were called to do a wellbeing check on 44-year-old Nicole Burgess at the Offenbacher Mobile Home Park. They found her dead in her home around 11 a.m. Thursday morning. Detectives believe with the way she died, it was a homicide.

November 16, 2023 Press Release from the Allen County Sheriff's Office: On Thursday, November 16, 2023 Allen County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 1900 block of East Elm Street to Offenbacher Mobile Home Park in Lima in reference to a wellbeing check at approximately 10:57am. Upon arrival deputies discovered the resident, Nikole Burgess (DOB 8/11/1979), deceased. The manner of death is believed to be homicide. This investigation is ongoing.
