Women connected to Hilty Home death all plead not guilty

Two of the three woman involved with the January death of a Hilty Home resident, made their first appearance in court Wednesday.

During arraignments in Putnam County Common Pleas Court, 20-year-old Destini Fenbert and 36-year-old Rachel Friesel both entered a plea of not guilty to each of their four counts. On Monday the third woman, 31-year-old Megan Schnipke, entered a plea of not guilty as well, on her three counts. Fenbert and Friesel face involuntary manslaughter, a felony of the third degree.

The three women were indicted in connection with the death of Hilty resident, 76-year-old Phyllis Campbell. She walked out of the home just after midnight and wasn't found until after eight in the morning.
