Allen East wins NWC golf tournament, Crestview’s Dealey takes individual title

HARROD — Allen East captured the team championship at the Northwest Conference golf tournament Wednesday at Colonial Golfers Club, edging out the field with a score of 339.
The Mustangs narrowly held off Lincolnview, which placed second with a 340, while Columbus Grove followed in third at 341. Crestview, Bluffton, Lima Central Catholic and Jefferson rounded out the team standings.
On the individual side, Crestview’s Mathew Dealey claimed medalist honors with a 76, finishing one stroke ahead of Columbus Grove’s Gage Sautter. Allen East’s Brady Brooks secured third with a 79.
Dealey was also named NWC Player of the Year, while Lincolnview’s Brett Hammons earned Coach of the Year honors. Allen East and Lincolnview shared the league’s regular season crown as co-champions.
