BATH (WLIO) — Spencerville picked up a narrow 33–31 road win over Bath on Friday night in a matchup between two No. 2-ranked teams from their respective conferences.
The Bearcats were led by Briley Cook, who scored a game-high 13 points to pace Spencerville. Bath kept pace throughout, with Mara Davis leading the Wildkittens with 10 points, while Marlie Mason added nine points and six rebounds.
Spencerville regrouped late in a back-and-forth second half and made just enough plays down the stretch to secure the two-point victory.
