Aidan Hinds and Todd Sherman headlined the 28th Annual Championship Night at Limaland Motorsports Park on Friday, clinching season titles in their respective divisions.
Hinds became the first UNOH student to win the Modified season championship after finishing second in the feature race behind Lima’s Troy Cattarene, who led wire-to-wire to grab the checkered flag.
In the Thunderstocks, Tony Anderson won the race, but Sherman secured enough points with a second-place finish to dethrone the two-time defending champion Anderson and take the title.
Rolly Heyder won the Dirt Track Truck Series feature, a once-a-year special event that closed out the evening.
Next Friday, Limaland hosts the King of the Quarter Mile Invitational along with the official points champions' award ceremony.
