Priddy’s 33 points lift Lima Central Catholic past Spencerville 66-57

SPENCERVILLE, Ohio (WLIO) — Lima Central Catholic erased a second-half deficit and snapped Spencerville’s winning streak with a 66-57 victory Friday night at the Walk-In Closet.
The Bearcats entered the matchup unbeaten at 4-0 and had won four straight meetings against the Thunderbirds, but LCC used a strong offensive performance from Jordan Priddy to turn the tide.
Priddy attacked the lane consistently, helping Lima Central Catholic trail just 29-28 at halftime.
Spencerville appeared to gain control in the third quarter behind junior Will Sensabaugh, who finished through traffic with a smooth euro step to push the Bearcats ahead by five.Sensabaugh led Spencerville with 21 points.
Lima Central Catholic answered quickly, as Priddy found Hunter Williams for a catch-and-shoot 3-pointer that tied the game.
The night featured a milestone moment when Spencerville senior Owen Sensabaugh came off a screen and knocked down a jumper to reach 1,000 career points, drawing a celebration with family and giving the Bearcats a brief six-point edge.
Lima Central Catholic responded immediately and never looked back. Brady Parker converted a three-point play to swing momentum back to the Thunderbirds, who closed the game on a decisive run.
Priddy finished with 33 points to lead all scorers as LCC pulled away late to secure the nine-point win.
