The Allen County Sheriff's Office is looking into a jewel theft, that also happened early Saturday morning.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies got an alarm call shortly after 1 in the morning at "Jewel master" off of elm street. When they got to the business, they found the front door broken, and they saw display cases had been shattered and several pieces of jewelry were taken. It is unknown how much the jewelry cost, that was stolen. Detectives are working on collecting all of the evidence, including security footage of the incident.

     On 12-29-2018 at approximately 1:18 AM, deputies were dispatched to Jewel Master, in reference to an alarm activation. Upon arrival deputies found, the glass on the front door was broken. Upon entering deputies found that, several display cases had been shattered and the jewelry contained therein was stolen.

At this time, the amount of jewelry and a dollar value is still unknown. It is an ongoing investigation and the detective bureau is working to collect all evidence, including security footage of the incident.
