LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — With several major projects underway in downtown Lima, the city has released a new video to highlight the ongoing changes and future plans.
The video, available on the City of Lima’s YouTube channel and social media pages, offers a guided tour through current and upcoming projects included in the city's 2040 Comprehensive Plan. These include streetscape improvements on Central Avenue and Union Street, enhanced pedestrian accessibility, safer roadway corridors, and improved nighttime visibility.
“This is really an exciting, straightforward way to show the streetscape improvements that will be coming to downtown, and to allow the public to supply their input and comment,” said Lima City Engineer Ian Kohli.
The video aims to showcase the city's commitment to revitalization through a blend of public and private partnerships, all working to create a brighter future for Lima. Production of the video was made possible through a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
