The club presented its "Service to Mankind Award" to Anna Selfridge for her work as a historical librarian at the Allen County Museum.

The award is given to individuals who have made significant contributions that positively impact the community and do not seek recognition for their efforts. The club felt Selfridge embodied the spirit of the award through her passion for local history.

“I've always felt that it was important for us to remember the people who came before us, not just the people, the organizations, the businesses, what have you. The things that we have based our growth as [a] community on, and it doesn't get a whole lot of attention anymore, which I think, just sad, but we keep trying,” said Selfridge.

The Sertoma service club also donated a children’s book to the Lima Public Library in Selfridge’s name.
