Lima Police investigate early morning shooting on Feeman Avenue

UPDATE: The Lima Police detectives say the weapon used in the alleged Saturday morning shooting was a BB gun.  The suspect was charged and released from custody.   No further information was given by the Lima Police Department. 

LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting in the 1400 block of Feeman Avenue that occurred around 8 a.m. Saturday.

When Hometown Stations news crew arrived at the scene, officers were ordering a person to leave the home with his hands visible. Shortly afterward, one man was seen being handcuffed and placed into a police cruiser.

An ambulance was also observed leaving the scene with an alleged victim.

Police have not released any official information at this time. This story will be updated as more details become available.
