LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Lima Senior High School orchestra students performed for local senior citizens.
The Spartans' “Satin Strings” played their concert music for residents at Luther Pines Senior Community, giving residents the chance to sit back and enjoy the performance. Organizers say events like this help keep seniors active and engaged and support their overall well-being.
“We're hoping to have a different type of music event monthly, maybe not always the students coming to visit, but whether that be somebody donating their time to play guitar or an instrument.”
The All-City Orchestra is set to perform Thursday, March 12, at the Joe Henderson Auditorium at 7 p.m.
