LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Area snow removal businesses are working hard around the clock to keep parking lots clear from this weekend's snowstorm.

On Monday afternoon, we checked in with Hick's Lawn Services at Clocktower Plaza to see the progress they're making following the heavy snow. For the past couple days, crews have been working nonstop pushing the snow into large piles and salting the parking lots to help businesses get back to normal operations. With this winter proving more active than the last few winters, owner Phil Hicks says they've had their work cut out for them.

Local snow removal businesses push through heavy weekend snow

"It was like a marathon, really even 48 hours. The entire Winter has been just one snow after another. So, very little sleep, lots of phone calls, lots of texts, lots of communication with employees and customers," says Phil Hicks, Owner, Hicks Lawn Services.

Hicks adds that with expected strong winds over the next couple of days, they will have to potentially revisit areas as blowing and drifting snow may cover once plowed lots back over again.
