People were on a roll Saturday afternoon as they helped raise money for the Children's Developmental Center.
Close to 200 people participated in the organizations bowl-a-thon at 20th Century Lanes. Friends and families not only bowled several rounds, but they also participated in dozens of different raffles.
This event is held every year to help raise money for things like classroom programming, occupational; speech and therapy services for children with disabilities. The executive director says she is grateful for the support.
“We’re super excited because we have a full house today. We have never had a full house and it’s just a great way to involve families, our students, as well as people in the community,” said Elisha Reineke, Children’s Development Center executive director.
The children's developmental center's goal is to raise $2,000 from this year's bow-a-thon.
