A Christmas party brought the community together to take in some early holiday cheer.
Savior's Grace Ministries held a Christmas Party for local families on Saturday. The goal of the event was to provide some fun and a chance to forget about the tough year.
"And I like the fact that everyone is coming together, all nationalities, all races, that's what I love about it," said Lawanda Hall, an organizer for the event. "Everybody is socializing, everybody is having a great time."
Kids who attended the event were able to take a picture with Santa Claus himself, as well as pick out an early Christmas gift.
The event was free to all who attended.
