Clyde wants to use experience as the next Secretary of State

The state representative for the 75th district is ready to move from the legislature to the secretary of state’s office.

The Democratic candidate for secretary of state, Kathleen Clyde was at the Allen County Fair Thursday evening talking to voters about her run to be the next election’s chief for Ohio. Clyde has been a state lawmaker for 8 years and she says she is ready to use her experience she has gained in Columbus and as a county-level election’s official to address some of the problems she sees coming from the Secretary of States office.

“Our voter turnout has been on the decline in Ohio, we are currently leading the country purging eligible voter rolls. Taking away their registration, and we also suffer under some of the most gerrymandered districts in the entire country. So it’s time for a change, it’s time for a new direction,” said Kathleen Clyde.

Clyde is will be taking on Republican candidate Frank LaRose and Libertarian candidate Dustin Nanna in the November Election.
