Now that it feels like fall, local agencies are getting into the mood with festivals and gatherings.
This Saturday, Shawnee Manor along Burton's Ridge is inviting the public to join them for their annual Fall Fest. Organizers say it's a way they can give back. Families will enjoy an afternoon filled with activities including face painting, a petting zoo, inflatables, and of course food. There's something for everyone.
"It's going to be a great time to invite the whole community in, from young to old, to have a great time just being a community and fellowshiping together, having some hotdogs and chili, and pumpkin painting, and climbing walls, and petting zoos, and you know it's going to be a great time and that's what HCF is all about is about being involved," explained Daniel Lee, HCF Burton's Ridge marketing coordinator.
The event is this Saturday, October 12, 2019, from noon until 5 p.m. It's free and open to the public.
