A Lima man gets eight years in prison for forcing his way into a home and striking a man in the head with a gun.
38-year-old Chrystian Jara Coronado got his sentence after jurors found him guilty of aggravated burglary in December. According to court documents, in May 2021, a woman knocked on the door of a home in the 600 block of Ontario Street and told the person inside that Coronado assaulted her. Coronado then pushed the woman aside and hit the guy that lived there twice, once on the side of the head and then again in the face. Coronado was arrested later at a home on Kibby Street by the SWAT team when he didn't respond when police arrived to arrest him.
