There is power in numbers and the Allen County Commissioners are a part of it.
It is the “County Risk Sharing Authority” better known as CORSA and Allen County Commissioner Cory Noonan is currently the president of the organization. It’s a group of 66 counties that have pooled together to get better rates for liability coverage. They were just recognized by the “Association of Government Risk Pools”.
Allen County Commissioner Cory Noonan explains the recognition, “It’s immeasurable for us as commissioners. You think about how many buildings that we have here. You think about the number of vehicles that we have, the cruisers. Just being able to ensure that we have that protection and really following the standards at a national level being recognized for that is impressive. It’s a reflection of a great staff and the great board that we have.”
CORSA is sponsored by the County Commissioners Association of Ohio and governed by a board of nine directors.
