It didn't take an Allen County Jury long to convict a Delphos man charged with choking a woman unconscious in the parking lot of a Lima business.
The jury found 46-year-old Marcus Sullivan guilty of felonious assault. Sullivan was then sentenced to a minimum of 10 years, up to 14 years in prison. There was additional time in that sentence for having repeat violent offender specification on the charge.
The trial began Monday and the jury heard from police who responded following the incident, Sullivan, and the victim. Plus, they watched security video from January 27th of the incident from the parking lot of the Lima company where the assault took place.
