Lima, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Fire Department is still investigating a fire that severely damaged a home early Friday morning. Fire crews were called to 545 Michael Avenue around midnight. When they arrived, fire was on both the first and second stories of the home, the fire also caused a partial collapse of the roof. No one was home at the time of the fire, neighbors says the residents were home before the fire started. Fire officials are still trying to determine the cause, but they believe the fire started in the rear of the home near the back porch.
