ELIDA, Ohio (WLIO) — An Elida school bus driver has resigned after a Facebook video raised concerns about student safety.
On Friday, Sept. 12, around 3:10 p.m., a driver's dash cam video captured the bus pulling out directly in front of their vehicle on State Route 81. The oncoming driver was able to stop just in time and avoid a collision. The Elida Local School District said it was made aware of the video the same day it was posted. The district confirmed that the bus driver resigned before any disciplinary action was taken.
