Equipment was damaged in a Tuesday morning fire at Dana

Estimated damages could be as high as $750,000 after an early Tuesday morning fire at Dana.

Bath Fire Chief Joe Kitchen says heavy smoke and fire were coming from a building just behind the main plant a little after 4 a.m. The building houses Dana's main compressor system, the fire didn't make it to the primary manufacturing plant.

Firefighters got the fire under control in about 15 minutes. Help was brought in from the Lima and American Township Fire Departments. There were no injuries, management and security had evacuated the entire plant.

There is no cause, yet but Chief Kitchen says it is not suspicious.
