Family and friends have come together to honor the memory of Vera Jo Reigle. An emotional gathering Friday night for the 24 year old mother beaten and murdered by two of the people she was living with.
A candle-light vigil filled with prayer and emotion had loved ones gathering at Clinton Court, near the site where Vera's body was found less then a week ago. The death of Vera still remains in the minds of friends, who provide support for the family. Vera's mother, Verna Messersmith still coming to terms with the loss. She is hopeful there will be justice and she will one day hold Willadean, Vera's daughter in her hands.
Two people are in police custody for the murder. 21 year old Daniel Bixler, Reigle's cousin, has been charged with aggravated murder. His girlfriend, 17 year old Nicole Peters of Tiffin is being held at the Seneca County Juvenile Detention Center.
