The Findlay/Hancock County Habitat for Humanity has hit a milestone with the number of homes that they have helped repair in the area.

Over the next few days, the organization will be working on their 100th Critical Home Repair, which is a program that they started back in 2013. Volunteers will be replacing the floors of a mobile home that have become warped over the years. The repair will allow the owner to better heat and cool her home as well as staying in her home longer. Those with Habitat say that the volunteers have been a great help with not only this project, but the others that have come before it.

"It is just heartwarming how many people jump at the bit, to want to help, not just with our new builds, but we're also seeing a lot more volunteering through our repairs too," said Shelly Dermer, the Family Services Coordinator for the Findlay/Hancock County Habitat for Humanity.

Repairs of the home will continue until Friday, June 28th.
