CRIDERSVILLE, OH (WLIO) - Area fire departments continue to battle a fire at a scrap metal recycling center in Auglaize County.
The fire was at the rear of the facility, where there were old buses and plastics located. The fire was seen from above the trees.
Cridersville Fire Department was called out to B & G Recycling just after 11 p.m. Thursday night. The fire was at the rear of the facility, where there were old buses and plastics located. The fire was seen from above the trees.
14 fire departments and 2 EMAs responded to the fire.
14 fire departments and 2 EMAs responded to the fire, which included Cridersville, Buckland, Wapakoneta, St. John’s Uniopolis, Wayne Township, Minster, New Bremen, St. Marys Township, Perry, Shawnee, Spencerville, American Township, Botkins, Auglaize Co. EMA, and Allen Co. EMA.
The Cridersville Fire Department is asking people to avoid the area of National Road, between I-75 and Townline Road. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
