Around 600 people attended Heartbeat of Lima and Putnam County's Jubilee Banquet. This is the organization's largest fundraiser of the year, helping them continue to provide free services to new and expecting parents.

Thanks to the generosity of the community over the years, Heartbeat has been able to expand to two locations, offering free classes, ultrasounds, counseling, and supplies to parents in need. Though a lot has changed, the founders' original mission has remained the same.

"Larry and Shirley Huffman really ministered to young women around their dining room table. John Huffman has told me stories about that. And then, they had a heart for women who needed help at that time, and they were really instrumental in helping to promote the pro-life movement in this area," said Brenda Keller, the president of Heartbeat's board of trustees.

In the future, Heartbeat hopes to establish more locations to be able to reach even more families.
