Event organizers say 140 vendors, offering everything from food to fall decorations to crafts for sale, are set up for this year's event. The fast festival has become one of the biggest attractions at the lake each year since its start more than four decades ago.

The festival runs until 8 p.m. Friday night, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Money raised from the festival helps fund projects at the state park and the Indian Lake Development Corporation projects around the lake area to help with the quality of life for local residents and visitors to the lake.
"We've put an all inclusive playground over on Fox Island, which got minimal damage from the tornado. And we've put in shelter houses. We're kind of a co-sponsor of the pickleball court, which my understanding is they're going to start digging here shortly," explained Larry Blinn, Indian Lake Development Corporation.

Admission and parking at the state park are free.
