Here is this week's wanted list from the Lima/Allen-Putnam County Crime Stoppers Program.
Cold Case Homicide William “Billy” Powell
On August 23, 2003 at approximately 930 pm, Officers from the Lima Police Department were dispatched to 558 W Market St Apartment A in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 53 year old William Powell in the kitchen of the apartment. William was suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower legs. William was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed from his injuries.
The Lima Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in solving this over 20 year old heinous crime and providing justice for William’s senseless murder.
