Lima business celebrates 100 years by giving back

A downtown Lima business is celebrating a milestone by giving back to the community.

Kohn's Money Vault has been in business for 100 years in the Lima community. The store was opened in 1918 by Phillip Kohn and for 72 years did business near town square at 106 East Market Street. It moved to its current location on West High Street in 1990. The store has been a quiet supporter of the Lima community with donations including instruments to the Lima Senior Band. Store employees say they are looking forward to another 100 years as they enjoy working with their customers.

To thank Limaland for 100 years of business, Kohn's will be sponsoring the August 10th Rally in the Square with the Indoorfins. Kohn's will also be paying for the first 100 people through the gate and handing out koozies and t-shirts while they last.
