LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Fire Department is investigating a two-alarm fire on the northwest side of the city this afternoon.
Around 2:30 p.m. Lima firefighters were called out to 456 Haller Street for reports of a fire inside the home. The fire was contained to the first floor and in the rear of the home. Everyone was able to get out safely before the fire truck arrived.
The fire was controlled in just under four minutes from the time of dispatch. One person was transported to the hospital with no serious injuries.
AEP was called in to shut off the power and the Red Cross was also called to assist the family. The estimated cost of the damage is around $10,000 and the cause is still under investigation.
