Lima, OH (WLIO) - A Lima man is facing multiple felony charges for an August incident where he struck a woman with a gun and had a short standoff with police. 35-year-old Jacquavious Cartwright was indicted by the Allen County Grand Jury on the charges of felonious assault, kidnapping, illegally growing marijuana, and possession of cocaine. The charges come after an incident on South Union St, where Cartwright allegedly hit a woman with a gun. Then he remained in the house and refused to come out. Police surrounded the home, and when the Allen County SWAT team arrived, he gave himself up. Cartwright currently in the Allen County Jail.
