A Lima woman is facing assault charges after allegedly stabbing a man she was living with early this morning.
The Lima Police Department says just after 2:30 a.m., they were called out to 490 McPheron Avenue for the reports of a stabbing. 38-year-old Tonya Mull was arrested for allegedly stabbing 29-year-old Jacob Stephens in the forearm, the injuries were non-life threatening. Mull was charged with suspicion of felonious assault and was booked into the Allen County Jail.
Press Release from the Lima Police Department: On Monday, November 25, 2019 at approximately 2:42am officers from the Lima Police Department responded to 490 McPheron in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located Jacob Stephens (29 years old of 490 McPheron) inside the residence. Jacob had sustained a non-life-threatening knife wound to his left forearm. Officers also located Tonya Mull (38 years old of 490 McPheron) inside the residence. LPD officers determined Tonya caused the knife wound to Jacob. Tonya was taken into custody and charged with Suspicion of Felonious Assault.
