LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A local mechanic is giving back to those who have served our country.
Auto Medic of Ohio LLC. is looking for up to five veterans with car problems for their "Fix a Car for a Hero". They will be taking applications on their website from October 21st through November 21st. Fill out a short form, submit it, and they will review the applicants and pick the winners. It's their way of saying thank you.
"You know times are tough. A lot of veterans, you know, are on disability, they're retired, they don't have a lot of money. So we're trying to help them out by fixing their cars for free," explained Rebecca Perry, office manager of Auto Medic of Ohio LLC.
