LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A two million dollar bond has been set for a Lima teen charged with murder.

18-year-old Malik Dennis had a video arraignment in Lima Municipal Court Friday afternoon. Dennis was charged with murder for the death of 14-year-old Lauralye Sterling. The Lima Police Department says Sterling was found by officers shot to death at 778 Greenlawn Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Police add that Dennis and Sterling were acquaintances who lived near one another. The case is still under investigation. If convicted, Dennis could get 15 years to life in prison. He will have a preliminary hearing next Wednesday.
