Once again the hospital is offering 10 $1500 scholarships to inspire students to enter the medical field. The hospital also uses the application process to make contact with hundreds of interested students that could possibly be the next generation of employees at Mercy Health Saint Rita's.
Director of Government and Community Affairs for Mercy Health St. Rita’s, Beth Keehn, encourages seniors to apply, “The winners are invited back every year to have a luncheon with our physicians and our leaders. It really keeps them connected with St. Rita’s and future careers they may want to pursue when they graduate. We really see this scholarship program as more than a financial incentive but it’s a way for us to make connections with people who want to come back to the community and care for our friends and neighbors”.
