If you take Metcalf Street Bridge on your daily commute, you may need to plan on a different route for the next couple of days.
The Metcalf Street truss bridge is scheduled to be closed to traffic between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The closure is temporary so that the bridge can be inspected. The Allen County Engineer's Office is advising drivers to plan on an alternate route for that time because through traffic will be prohibited.
