On Sunday, community members got the chance to check out a new luxury apartment project in Downtown Lima.
Dozens of people attended the open house at the new Metro Center Upscale Lofts and Business Mall on North Elizabeth Street. Throughout the afternoon, people looked through floor plans and also explored some of the building.
Once the project is finished the former Metropolitan Bank will house 34 one to two bedroom upscale loft apartments and approximately 10 retail shops. The president of Pursuit III Incorporated, the company that started this project, says it is important because will change the whole scheme of Downtown Lima.
“We think we can answer the need for as what we see as a growing public. That is looking for Downtown Living and in cooperation with downtown Lima we’re going to find that there’s going to be more entertainment and things for people to do,” said William Walter, president of III Incorporated.
