LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A new local business is hosting a pop-up event for local trick-or-treaters to come & pack their bags full of candy.
The Mega Pop Up organization will be hosting the "Trunk-or-Treat" event at the new Bite & Buzz Restaurant and Bar. The event provides a way to not only help promote local businesses but also give back to the community with some Halloween sweets & treats.
"Basically a pop-up is a way to support small businesses in the community that don't have a physical building, they have like an online store or just use social media or word of mouth. So we host small business pop-up shops around Lima," said Meagan Horton, Mega Pop-Up organizer.
The pop-up event will be held next Sunday, October 29th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the new Bite and Buzz Restaurant and Bar located at 701 South Main Street. This is a free event for the community and there is a costume contest for the kids and a $100 prize for the best trunk. For more information contact pop-up organizer Meagan Horton at 419-604-8895.
