Over 900 grants were awarded to nonprofits, art and cultural organizations, and school districts. This is the largest single round of grants distributed by the council in its history. Some of the local recipients include the Lima Symphony Orchestra and Lima Area Concert Band, the Putnam County Educational Service Center, the Veterans Civic Center, and the Marathon Performing Arts Center.
