Job coaches from Ohio Means Jobs Allen County spoke at LCC Wednesday morning to show students how to create their own profiles on the Ohio Means Jobs website. This gives them access to some of the services that Ohio Means Jobs can provide for them before they graduate, and helping them start planning out what they want to do in the future early.

"Looking into their future is very important to figuring out what they want to do; I know that we always would talk about the four-year colleges, but that's not necessarily the case anymore today, you can actually go for a two-year degree or into a trade school and you can make very good money coming right out, and that's something that we can bring to the table and show them all the employers that are interested," said Brock Schmidt, a job coach for Ohio Means Jobs Allen County.

LCC as well as ten other schools in the county also have an on-site job coach to assist students through Ohio Means Jobs.
