Ohio State Fair ride investigation concludes

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has wrapped up the investigation into a deadly ride accident at the Ohio State Fair.

Troopers presented their findings to the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office. Prosecutor Ron O'Brien concluded there was not enough evidence for a criminal case. The Fireball ride will remain securely stored at the Ohio State Fair and Exposition Center until it is released to Amusements of America.

Troopers interviewed more than eighty witnesses during the investigation including several who were on the ride at the time of the accident, along with several experts.
