A Van Wert County man accused in the death of a 15-month-old baby files motions to get ready for his trial.
During Christopher Peters' first pre-trial conference, his lawyer filed multiple the motions that could affect his future appearances in court and how the court case will proceed in the future. The judge said he would rule on those motions at the next pre-trial conference, which is set for February 6th. There has been no trial date set yet for Peters.
Peters is being charged with aggravated murder with death penalty specifications, murder, felonious assault, and endangering children after purposely causing the death of 15-month-old, Hayden Ivan Ridinger. Peters remains in Van Wert County Jail on a two million dollar bond.
