More than 84 million American adults have prediabetes and you could be one of them.
Prediabetes is a term used to describe individuals at increased risk for developing serious health issue like type 2 diabetes. According to American Medical Association, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or simply having a parent or sibling with diabetes are all signs pointing toward prediabetes. The AMA puts an emphasis on people aged 40-70 years old as well as those that are overweight.
