Danee Morel and her husband Steve started the Project Elevenfive ministry as a dream in 2010 when they moved to Bolivia. They provide custom prosthetics made from donated ones to individuals who not only lost their limbs but also their way.

"The people that we see have no hope. And you know, to have an amputation means, for most people, they lose their job. We have seen families walk away because they are no longer able to provide to them. We have seen people who are suicidal, and so it has been an honor and a privilege really to come alongside these people," stated Danee Morel, director of Project Elevenfive.

Project Elevenfive is a reference to the gospel of Matthew 11:5. Morel says it's important to let them know God sees them, that they are loved, and that they are cared for. The prosthetic is an important part of their ministry.

"We do collect donated prosthetic legs. So if you know anybody that has one, maybe a loved one had one sitting in the closet they don't use anymore, we take those, give them new life, and we'll custom-make a new socket for someone to use that leg," added Morel.

The Morels currently have clinics in Bolivia and Africa. To learn more or to make a donation, go to their website: https://projectelevenfive.org/.
