The Civic Center was also the location of a clothing and grocery giveaway on Thursday, thanks to Only Believe Ministries of Botkins, Boy Scouts of Allen County, and Save-A-Lot food stores. Whether it was baby clothes, work clothes, or nighttime attire, residents were able to bag the clothes they needed thanks to area donations. Only Believe Ministries in Botkins brought a school bus full of clothing to the Civic Center, allowing guests to take any needed items.
Before leaving the Civic Center, guests were also welcomed to take bags of groceries donated from local organizations. In all, guests enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner next door, took clothes to keep warm, and bags of groceries to keep them full after the Thanksgiving holiday.
