The Shawnee local school district is now welcoming a new high school principal.
Mark Verroco will officially be the new high school principal at Shawnee High School. He was one of 17 candidates interviewed for the new position.
He has years of experience as a special educator and principal and has worked for schools in Findlay, Tiffin, and other school districts. The superintendent says he's a great fit for the school.
“Mark is a dynamic, energetic, hardworking leader and an educator,” said Kanable. “That’s what qualities he’s going to bring to Shawnee High School and we’re really excited to have him in this role.”
Verroco will start as principal of Shawnee High school on August 1.
