Music could be heard echoing through the halls of Mercy Health St. Rita's Tuesday morning.
The hospital invited the 60s Survivors Band to come in and play music for staff and visitors alike. They were brought in to help lessen some of the stress that everyone at St. Rita's is going through right now with everything going on.
Those with the band say that with a whole decade of songs to choose from, they hope that everyone listening could connect with at least one song in their set.
"There’s such a treasure trove of song after song - one might be a candy-apple song, and then the next one a hard rock song, so we’ve got plenty to choose from," said Rolf Haenisch with the 60s Survivors Band. "Every time that we play somewhere, someone is going 'yeah, yeah, yeah!'"
St. Rita's hopes to bring in more musical acts on Tuesdays.
