Strickland Makes Stop in Lima on "Ohio Is Not For Sale" Tour

As the election fast approaches, the former Ohio Governor and U.S. Senate Candidate makes a stop in Lima to talk to local auto workers.

Ted Strickland  is making a stop at the United Auto Workers Hall out at Ford Park as he is traveling around the state. Ted Strickland says Rob Portman turned his back on Ohio's auto workers and was opposed to the auto rescue project. Strickland says it's a powerful example of how Portman always chooses his rich and powerful friends at the expense of hard working Ohioans.

"I'm traveling around Ohio trying to point out the difference between Senator Portman and myself. I'm a working class guy and he's a guy who looks out for people who are rich and powerful and well connected.. the Wall-Streeters and the Washington insighters, that's who Rob Portman cares about and I care about auto workers and regular people who actually work for a living" Ted Strickland, Candidate for U.S Senate.

The Lima stop is part of Governor Strickland's Ohio is Not for Sale tour.

"Ted Strickland's desperate attacks are certainly a sad way to end his 40-year political career," said Portman Campaign Spokesperson Michawn Rich.

"Campaign organizations are reflections of candidates, their records, and their successes or failures and Ted Strickland is running the worst campaign in America. On the other hand, Rob is delivering results for Ohio families and has the support of thousands of volunteers across Ohio as well as a broad base of support from both traditional Republicans and the Teamsters, the FOP, the IUOE Local 18, and the United Mine Workers of America."
