LIMA, OH (WLIO) - If you love getting your hands on a good book, then this Lima area book sale is for you.
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) are preparing for their big annual book sale. This comes after the event was in jeopardy of happening just a couple months ago, back in May. Now, the book sale will be operating at a different location from past years, at the Elida Road strip with Fast Signs directly across from Fazoli's. Expect a wide range of books, games, puzzles, CDs, DVDs, and more to choose from at the yearly sale beginning on September 3rd through the 7th, with all proceeds going towards scholarships for local students.
"People can drop off their donations, and we're doing those on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings from 9–12 pm and Wednesday evenings from 5-8 pm. When the items are dropped off, we will help you unload them. Then, we start sorting through the items and putting them into categories to get them all ready and prepared for the sale," said Sue Ann Shaw, Co-Chair of the Book Fair.
