We caught up with officials to see what we could expect.

"Some of the standard stuff up in the grandstands. We got a cheerleading contest on Sunday night. We have weiner-dog races on Monday night, harness racing on Tuesday and Wednesday, demolition derby on Thursday, Rodeo on Friday, and then we're leaning into our big concert. We haven't done a big concert in quite a few years. We're venturing out, and we've got Conner Smith coming, an up-and-coming country star, so we're hoping good things happen with that. There's a lot of different festivals around, but what's different about a fair is the livestock. And watching these kids show their livestock and how excited they are to take care of them and how proud they are of showing their livestock that they've worked hard for all summer long, so that is definitely what sets us apart from other activities around here, and it's a great thing," said Ed Deonges, Auglaize County Fair manager.
